This is a simulated battle over the different servers of the game. In the US server, we face Germany, Russia, Spain, Brazil and Romania.
The castles set up for us to hit are representative of actual defense formations that have been captured from the actual server. The attacks are also actual attacks that have been sent also on that server. They do not represent live attacks or castles but the idea is to give you a sense of battle against how that server actually plays the game. Their strengths and weaknesses.
The Bloodcrows are the exact same event but with a different name. Everything I say about the Foreign Invasion goes with the BCs.
Defending against the FECs
Each alliance member will be attacked once per campaign. Some may not be attacked at all. If someone in say Brazil attacks a level 70 then it stimulates an attack on a level 70 on the US server. If they hit a 28, it should do the same.
Some times the FECs are full attacks loaded with tools but most of the times they are very light on tools. They can come with strong troops but not very good with tools or commanders.
Below level 40 it's advised to continue with your 50-0-50 default strategy. Between 40-50, it's okay to experiment with a 100-0-0 or 50-0-50 stragegy. As you go beyond 51, you should be playing 100-0-0 as we advise for our normal playver vs player defense.
However, if you are playing daily and will be on enough to switch up your defense once the event is finished. It is strongly suggested that you switch your defense to 0-30-70 as a default. or 70-30-0. May of the FEC/BC don't tool up the middle and you can save get the bonus in the courtyard by winning the front. Even if you don't win the front you can take out more troops and have a better courtyard battle.
There is a popular set up of 0-70-30, keeping with the idea of winning the bonus, but it is unadvised. The 70-30-0 almost always guarantees a flank win and there is no guarantee that the front will come without tools.
If you are online, please set up defense best way possible. Feel free to ask officers for advice if you are unsure.
Attacking the FEC/BC
Although these are not live castles, the respond to equipment and heroes that benefit Player castles. They are not considered NPC, so those benefits will not work on them.
Attack the FEC is a great way to obtain glory and earn glory titles. Always try to use the the specialized tools for the event if the wooden tools are not strong or fast enough and save your ruby or armored tools for other events or when you run out.
They are superior in strength and speed.
The castles you will attack only have the first wave filled with tools. You can send suicide attacks to knock out the tools and then tool up based on the castellan stats
