Welcome to The MightyBunch Alliance. We are a diplomacy-based, supportive and communicative alliance.
Two-week trial period
When you enter our alliance as a member without a referral, you will be held to a two-week trial period. During that two-week evaluation we will be looking for the following things:
1. Being active. While we don't require members to play daily, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, please note that during your trial period we do not want to see you turn into a "Black Dot" (not online for more than 7 days in a row). Later on, if you have a vacation, busy scheduling or personal matters come up, that will not allow you to avoid being a Black Dot, message leadership, leave up tools and we will protect your assets.
2. Be communicative. At least say hello and respond if someone speaks to you, in Chat. You are not required to be a "Chatty Cathy", and we do have an "alliance speak" shortcut ("5") which works as your daily task to speak in Chat (and is worth 5 points), for those times when you just have nothing to say.
3. Ask questions. In Chat or Private Message (PM). No one is expected to know everything and asking questions shows us that you want to learn.
4. When you make a mistake, own it. Mistakes happen. If you make one, speak to leadership so it can be dealt with diplomatically rather than with might, as a last resort. Let us get ahead of the problem.
5. Continue to level up. We are not an alliance that houses lower levels that are stagnant here. If you are satisfied to be only a Level 18 and just want to play with lower levels and get prizes and bonuses in that category without challenging yourself, we will find another alliance suitable for you. We are a training alliance at heart. We are here to help you become a strong player.
What you need to know to be successful in this alliance
We do not have multi-accounts nor support their use. If you feel you need to have an extra account to help you along then you are in the wrong alliance. The MightyBunch is here for you and will be able to assist you with training, resources and support. We want you to spend that extra time on ONE account, not juggling multiple accounts. On the other hand, playing on more than one SERVER is legal and fine (one account per server) IF you can manage the time.
To add to Point Number 5 -- continue to level up, if you don't continue to level up, but instead stay stagnant as a lower level, you will be suspected of being a multi-account player, and all the more reason for you to get the boot.
Initially, you will want to follow your Quest Book to level up, but know this, the QUEST BOOK is not the BIBLE. You do not have to do everything it tells you.
I cannot tell you how many times someone responds to a query about why they stole an RV (Resource Village), tried to steal an OP (Outpost) or Monument: "The book TOLD ME TO." "SHADY told me to attack." "The GAME said I had to attack in Storm Islands."
These are just SUGGESTIONS and you may get a reward, but remember that the game, GGE (Goodgame Empire), is SET UP to get you into battles with others. They WANT to trip you up into making a colossal mistake and get you (AND your alliance!) into a war. Do not fall for that. If unsure of something ask an officer. There are server politics/policies and unwritten rules:
- We do not steal RVs (Resource Villages).
- We do not steal Monuments.
- We do not steal Labs.
- We do not steal OPs (Outposts) from active players or ruined ones in alliances - we need to ask the alliance if they are using it. It belongs to them as long as that player is tied to their alliance.
- We do not attack other players in Storm Islands.
- We do not attack OPs (Outpost) unless during a war, or they attacked you there, first.
- We do not attack players in alliances without getting approval from an officer.
- We forward all attacks and defensive battle reports (BRs) from player castles.
- We only forward RBC (Robber Baron Castles)/Tower reports if requested or we want some feedback.
If we obtain a Monument or Lab after someone else already captured it, we return it to the original owner.
We do practice Shady attacks and are open to arranged agreements at higher levels and with allies to avoid casualties.
While we do not REQUIRE any donations to the Alliance Fund, they are appreciated, but are strictly voluntary.
There is an expectation that you will support members that follow our defense strategy against player attacks. We do NOT support members during NPC (Non-Player Castles) attacks (i.e., RBCs and Fortresses).
There is no expectation for you to support members that are Black Dots against Foreign Invasion attacks.
Participation in alliance events is encouraged.
